Ok so we over in Koerner library are there to provide you with the resources you need for your projects and research.
** these resources come in the form of data and maps, as we purchase and catalog geospatial data, as well as store and provide access to these types datasets. I'm mainly goiong to concentrate on GIS, but we do have ~800,000 paper map sheets as well.
** we also have Software and hardware resources in the form of licenseing for proprietary software like Esri's ARc GIS desktop software, QGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, FME for file converstion etc., and making accessbile large format printers.
** and resources also come in the form of workshops and support. Workshops and 1-1 consultations are just starting to take place through the Reseach COmmons in Koerner. These consultations are mainly for those who are doing some sort of place-based research, but do not have support from their departments.
